Under normal circumstances, most of the new wire ropes have been lubricated during production, but during use, the loss of lubricating grease will be reduced. In view of the fact that lubrication can not only protect the steel wire rope from corrosion during transportation and storage, but also reduce the wear between the wires, between the rope strands and between the wire rope and the traction sheave groove during the use of the wire rope, and the use of extended wire ropes. Longevity is also very beneficial. Therefore, in order to minimize the damage of corrosion and wear to the wire rope, it is necessary to carry out lubrication inspection. First of all, it is necessary to choose the appropriate wire rope lubricating grease. The elevator wire rope lubricating grease should be a special friction grease with a certain friction coefficient. The high-performance wire rope lubricating grease is the fundamental guarantee for maintaining the wire rope and prolonging the life of the wire rope. When the steel wire rope is working, the interior presents three-dimensional fretting friction, which requires that the wire rope grease must have strong penetration properties, that is, the lubricating oil molecule anti-wear agent in the lubricating grease can penetrate into each steel wire. In addition, the wire rope grease must also have strong adhesion properties. to ensure that it adheres evenly to each wire rope. There are usually several ways to lubricate and maintain the wire rope. One is to disassemble the wire rope and soak it in lubricating oil with a temperature of 80 to 100 degrees for about 2 to 4 hours. The other is to brush the lubricant directly on the wire rope with a brush. The key is to master the brushing method and interval. Generally speaking, a wire rope with a diameter of about 12mm is brushed with about 1 kg of lubricating grease every 40 meters, and the brushing interval is about two weeks; the other is to use The special wire rope lubrication equipment is used to lubricate the wire rope. This method is the most convenient, but the cost of the equipment is high. The specific lubricant and lubrication method used should be carried out according to the requirements of the wire rope manufacturer. At present, not many elevator maintenance units really pay attention to the lubrication and maintenance of wire ropes. Many units have been accustomed to replacing new wire ropes without paying attention to lubrication management. This is only one aspect of the requirements to ensure the safe use of wire ropes. In addition, it is also necessary to check the peripheral conditions of the wire rope, such as the surface wear of the traction sheave groove and the geometry of the sheave groove to ensure that the wire rope is always in good contact during operation to reduce friction. Ensure the safe operation of the elevator.

Three: Determination method of fatigue life of steel wire ropes for elevators

Determination of fatigue life requires the use of a special steel wire rope fatigue testing machine, in accordance with the national standard GB/T12347-2008 steel wire rope bending fatigue test method, or YB/T4288-2012 elevator steel wire rope bending fatigue test method. The quality of elevator wire ropes from different manufacturers can be compared, and the comprehensive quality of elevator wire ropes of different production processes can also be compared.

The manganese-based phosphating-coated elevator wire rope and the smooth elevator wire rope with the same diameter, structure and performance were successively tested on a fatigue testing machine until the first broken strand occurred, the fatigue life was recorded, and the test data were compared. In general, the longer the fatigue life, the longer the service life, and they are proportional. The longer the fatigue life, the higher the overall quality of the elevator wire rope.
